SOME BASIC RULES & REGULATIONS:
• Parking is provided at no charge
• Bring your appetites – our famous home-cooking will be served for breakfast and lunch
• Trophies will be awarded for 1st-4th place
• This show will be held outdoors, rain or shine
• Bring plenty of water for your dogs
• Picnic tables are available near the food pavillion.
• Bring comfortable chairs, for ringside seating
• No dogs will be allowed within 50 ft of the show ring except those who are entered in the class that is being judged
• Dogs must be on leash AT ALL TIMES. NO dogs will be tied out. Please supply a SECURE crate for each dog. Please, no ex-pens or cloth crates.
• Dogs must have proof of rabies, parvo and distemper vaccination and you must produce them upon request.
• Please, if your dog is ill, do not bring them to the show grounds. If any dog is reported to be ill, you will be excused from the show immediately. No exceptions.
• Please use designated exercise areas for your dog and be sure to clean up after your dog
• As we have already mentioned, - anyone showing any signs of unsportsmanlike behavior, arguing with the judges/spectators or fellow participants will be excused from the show grounds immediately. We reserve this right and we plan to enforce it 110%.
• HVRSK reserves the right to refuse entries. Entries will be returned with your payment immediately.
• A veterinarian will be on the grounds and/or on-call. A 24-hour vet hospital, across from the Middletown hotels will be available for the entire weekend.
• Please do not bring very young puppies to the show grounds.
• The judges decision is final. There will be no debates. Debating with the judge and/or yelling at the judge in an unprofessional manner will result in being excused for the remainder of the show.
• There will be NO dogs allowed ANYWHERE NEAR the BST Protection phase, other than the BST dog his/her self and the dog ‘on deck’. The same goes for the Protection Tournament.
• Please make our job easier by adhereing to this and not making us come to you and ask you to move your dog away from the ring and/or BST area. If you have read these rules, which are on this site and in the premium, then you know your dog should not be by the ring or Protection area.
There will be no loud speaking by the typist stations. This seems to be a problem every year. Remember, the typist is there to do their job and their job is to document your dogs critiques with the least amount of revisions and in a timely fashion. If we have to keep stopping to ask everyone to be quiet around the typist station, it kills precious time and prolongs the day. There is no reason for spectators and fellow participants to be rude to the typist and/or ring stewarts. If you feel you cannot adhere to this simple rule, than kindly DO NOT SIT near the typist - then you can speak as loud as you like:-)

Thank you!
