Hotel Accomodations

We are very much aware that the number of hotels that are accomodating in allowing pets into their establishment is becoming harder to come by. For the few hotels that allow our pets - along with those that allow trailers only...please be courteous to other guests. Please park your vehicles, holding dogs, in the REAR PARKING AREA of the hotel, do not bath your dogs in the hotel rooms, do not use the hotel towels to clean your dogs and please, NO PROTECTION in the hotel area. These simple rules will ensure our ‘pet-friendly’ hotels to stay that way! The host hotel will have a bar and social area open each night for all USRC participants to gather at - please use that area as opposed to outside your room. Thank you for understanding and for helping us make this a smooth sailing event!

We have taken the time to go to every hotel in the area, reserve group room rates, and give you a brief description of each hotel. Below are some pet-friendly hotel/motels and others that will welcome your trailers on their grounds, but ask to not have your dogs in the rooms.

The Marriott, Microtel Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn are right next to each other - sharing the same parking lot. TGI Fridays, Outback Steakhouse, Red Robin and Chilis are surrounding these hotels - all walking distance. If you are looking to be literally minutes from the show grounds, the Montgomery Super 8 is the choice for you. We do NOT recommend this hotel, as it is not near any restaurants, etc. The Middletown Super 8 is across Rt. 211 from the Marriott, the Galleria Mall, all of the above mentioned restaurants and a slew more on Route 211,. The Newburgh Super 8 also has a smaller mall, a diner and other restaurants very close by. FYI - It is in a totally different direction then Middletown, with the show grounds being in between both areas. One word of advise - try www.priceline.com before booking your room. Some days you can get better prices, even than the group rates that they arrange for us for ‘the dog show’....

Blocked rooms are under USRC and will no longer be in effect after April 7th, 2009.
