Welcome to the website of HVRSK. We are a multi-breed schutzhund klub located in Orange County, New York.

Our club members occupations range from many NYPD officers, as well as State Troopers, NYFD, graphic designers, professional K9 handlers and trainers, dog groomers, engineers, plumbing, nurses, school teachers, attorneys, salesmen, postal workers, real estate agents...and our list goes on and on.

Currently, we have our own schutzhund field that we train at. Our training nights are Tuesdays at 5pm (during the summer months), Saturday and Sunday mornings. Those are are three 'official' training days. 'Unofficially', our club meets daily for tracking/obedience, seven days a week. Our passion for the sport, as well as our friendship goes much further then the days we train. We have all become a family in this club and expect nothing more or less from anyone interested in joining our club.

Our clubs are member clubs of the United States Rottweiler Club (USRC) and the United Schutzhund Clubs of America (USA). The USRC is an umbrella club of the American Working Dog Federation (AWDF). We adhere to the FCI standard of the Rottweiler and mainly show in German-style conformation. On occasion, we do show in the AKC ring, as well as AKC obedience.
